When i wake up in the morning the first thing I Goto is my eMac.
I have. Never experienced something like that with xp. For $50 off trademe I reckon I got a good deal. My first mac. Do you have an Mac? What is it on? Comment below :)

Mac OS X is of course miles better than Windows XP.

XP should be compared to Mac OS 9 to be fair, they are of the same era.

Windows 7 compares well with Mac OS X imo, I use both during the week,

IMO OS 10.4.11 was the best, not as feature rich as today's mac os, but still pretty damn good for it's time, it also runs amazingly well on G4's.

i actually do not like the new os x (10.7). hence, selling my macbook for $1 reserve on trademe and got a samsung series 9 instead
