What is your suggestion of a good RSS feed reader for Mac OS?

Trying to get wife to use RSS instead of leaving dozens of blog pages constantly open on the browser...

If Reeder for Mac is as good as Reeder for iPad, then it will likely be very good!
Requires a google reader account.

Cheers,
Joseph

I use Reeder on the Mac and iPad - and love them both.  Go for it.

Another vote for Reeder, have never come across a better app on the Mac for RSS.

My preference is to just use Mac Mail as the RSS news reader. On Mountain Lion, I think it works about as well as any of the dedicated RSS News Readers.  It can provide an overview of the whole feed (as a scrollable list of all items in the feed) or let you drill down to a specific message and just view that one.

Cheers Mike

Thanks folks... Yes, got Reeder from the App Store, and it works a treat.

Try RSSOwl.
Works on Win/Linux/Mac OS.
Got the News Filters option e.g. "Entire News / Contains / *dotcom* Delete News " :)
Lots of extra features.
