I was recently made redundant, and as part of the leaving package was given a near new macbook pro 17 inch because the company, under new IT leadership, was removing the few mac's they had.
I have really enjoyed it the last couple of months, however I wish that the IT Dept had gotten a smaller one because I use it on the couch in the living room, travel with it occasionally, and it is just to big (though love the big screen for watching streaming sport).
I am considering selling it on trade me and changing to a new 13 inch one. Do you think there would be a market for this kind of machine even though they are no longer producing them, and what kind of value should I expect?
.... did see this one that was the same for $3,730,

though my one's warranty expires February 2013, but on the plus side has Microsoft Office Pro 2011 licensed and installed (does tho change value).
Do you think this is a good idea? Are there other issues I need to consider?
