Has anybody been using Parallel with Win 7 on a McBook air and can give some feedback ?

I believe you mean OSX and yes it is quite stable.

I have used both Parallels and Vmware.
Parallels seems to be better overall and rated the best on the net.

Yes, Win7 runs well in Parallels 8

I have run Parallels since Version 1 and have generally had good experiences with it.

I have just set up an iMac with VMs for OSX 10.6,10.7, WinXP,Win7,Win8 for JAVA software testing purposes

If you plan to use the VM seriously then get more RAM, we have 16G in the iMac and it can cope with 2 of the VMs running at the same time while having OSX 10.8 still being responsive

Im still on parallels 7, using a macbook air for windows 7 64bit (actually the bootcamp partition - which i use for best DX 3d graphics performance), and the experience is excellent. Speed, Stability, Robustness, Compatibility etc...

Load times off the SSD are great too.

Latest Parallels leaves Fusion for dead. Previous versions not so much. Wonder if VMware will continue investing in this space.
