I see a lot of bad issues for USB3 hubs, even the Belkin one at Apples website, if anyone has a good experience with one, I'd be keen to know.
My rMBP is Oct 2013 model, running Mavericks

Had good success with a handful of these. Unpowered 3 ports with gigabit ethernet. Has OSX driver available. Good performance.
