Well its that time again where all us Apple fans/nuts wet ourselves in anticipation of what will be released from the 'Steve Jobs High Temple' in California. We will then ooh arr and drool over every word and slide during the presentation.
For the dedicated fans Apples annual World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) starts at 0500 (NZ time) Tues 2nd June. Set your alarms. Apple is offering a live video stream of the Keynote speech. So make a strong cup of coffee and fire up your browser.
Expected:
OS 10.10 and iOS 8 announcement.
Updates to: iMac, MacBook & iPad range
Speculation products:
iPhone 6 with larger screen size
iMac with ARM CPU
iMac with Retina Display
iMac with full touch screen
iWatch
iTV - set top box
iTV - full screen TV
Smart Home technology with iDevice intergation
wireless cone head set (post purchase of Beats - Dr Dre)
Speculation software:
split screen multi-tasking in iOS
iHealthBook with hardware (Heart Rate/O2 saturations/Blood Pressure etc)
iBeacon (unified payment type app)
Better streaming music service (post purchase of Beats - Dr Dre)
AND SOMETHING EVEN THE ORACLES DID NOT FORESEE.
There seems to be allot more secrecy this year. All the banners are covered from the 1st floor up at the Mascone Conference centre. At least 50% of the schedule is "To Be Announced". Also Apple really has not had a NEW product releases for 18 months so expect some surprises.
So what are the fans dreaming of?
