I am loading everything from our old compact onto the MacBook Pro
I've managed to set up the e-mails ok, but need to transfer all the contacts from my old 'windows mail' to the default apple mail. I have imported them and saved them to an external memory stick and to an external hard drive, but I can get them into apple mail.
When I go to add mail box it comes up with options to import from apple, netscape, thunderbird, eudora or files in mbox format - and none of these are applicable.

does anyone know how I can do this please?
and if anyone says I have to enter them in manually I will throw the macbook at my wife and get her to do it, as it was her idea to buy an apple!

thanks in advance!

Never done that one before but you may be able to use this:

Export the contacts to a csv file and that should be able to be imported into the Apple Mail app.
