Does anyone have experience with Xcode and able to recommend a beginner's guide?

Which version are you using? They have been markedly different over the years.

Apple has some ebooks on swift for free  and then there is their blog

Yeah I started reading the swift book but couldn't even figure out how to run a 'Hello World' program with Swift since I don't understand how Xcode works
