There's a few older threads around with people installing SSDs in Macbook Pros, but nothing really recent. Given the technology is still evolving, what are the current things to look for? Has anyone done this recently?

This would be for a mid 2009 model.

I installed a SSD in my 2010 13" MBP earlier this year. It's really simple. Just need to make sure you have the correct screwdrivers and have something to install OSX from after.

Its' easy, just drop it in and install done.

You can also clone your drive over if you have a sata to usb drive and a working usb install of what ever OS you are using.

In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.
