Any Mac developers here?

I thought it would be great idea to have a Mac dashboard widget for the NZ iTunes Store that could alert users to each weeks 99c movie rental deal.

There is a widget like this for the US iTunes Store, but of course doesn't work here.

I downloaded it and inspected the package contents to see if I could customise it for NZ use, but it's beyond my skill level (i.e. basically no programming experience)

Anyway, would be keen to hear from any Mac developers, and whether this is something that could be accomplished
