I have a G3 and i am having trouble connecting to my wireless router, please can anyone shed some light,

i can see the connection but when i enter the [correct] password it says "there was an error joining that airport network"

the encyption is in 64-bit WEP Enabled [from the router] and i can only see on the mac these options 'wep password' or 'web 40/128-bit hex' or web 40/128-bit ascii' or 'leap'

i have tried them all

Why not try 128-bit (on Dlink-524), if no such option, try update the firmware.

I recently have to drop from 128-bit to 64-bit as I found out that our Nintendo DS doesn't work well or connect at all at 128-bit :-(
