OS X 10.10.4 Update Available with Bug Fixes for Wi-Fi & Networking, Photos, Mail

Not that I had any Wi-Fi issues that others have heavily reported but I do believe that my late 2013 iMac 27" is running faster and smoother with this update. Hopefully 10.11.0 El Capitan will just be a bug fix release with no new features and be even smoother and faster.

PS: There is also today an update iOS 8.4 Available for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and iTunes 12.2 Available with Apple Music & Beats 1 Radio

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

I like the Music thing but Beats 1 seems to be playing some sort of awful rap stuff every time I turn it on! Does it have an EPG?

Edit: there is a kind of half-baked program guide on a 'tumblr' page (whatever that is).

Most of the presenters looked to me as though they ought to be in prison so it probably isn't likely to be a station aimed at my demographic...!

Haven't had a good look at things, I am too busy trying to figure out why memory usage has gone nuts since I installed this update on my iMac. Lucky its no longer my primary machine since I got it back from my son, he gave up on OSX.

WiFi on my mid-2013 Macbook Air is still flaky. Need to turn it off & on & reconnect a couple of times after waking up before it'll do anything. Worked fine with Yosemite. :(

WiFi on my 2008 Mac Pro (using an upgraded 802.11ac\Bluetooth module from a recent model imac) works just fine however.

I connect my iMac with an ethernet cable. However, bizarrely it requires the wifi to be turned on in order to work. The tech guy at VF couldn't work out why. I suggested a broken modem (theirs) but then, after spending about 40 minutes trying to solve the problem I just got cut off so we never made it to an answer and my will to live had been sapped too much to call back.

Everything is going well here - I'm a happy lad with a stable computer and looking forward to El Capitan making its debut onto my computer soon enough. Safari seems to be a little more snappy but still having issues with loading the GEM Visa website's login, I need to click on the 'login' the close off the tab the click on the login again and for some reason it suddenly loads completely - doesn't occur on Firefox (OS X) or at work (Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 7).
