Anybody subscribed to .MAC and using the "Back to my Mac" feature?

I have subscribed - everything working except for BTMM.  I suspect my router (D-Link DSL-604T) not supporting the NAT-PMP required by BTMM.

If you have it working, I'd be interested in your modem/router make and model.

Cheers

Woody

So far everything is fairly seemless as far as syncing of contacts. ical etc. Update on one and it appears on the other.  Must see if I can do it via mobile data with IPhone.  Using the webpage and gallery with IWeb and IPhoto all very simple.   I subscribed as I wanted to use the "Back to my Mac" feature, but my old DSL-G604T does not work with it, so I won't know too much until I grab a new router.

I have considered an Airport Extreme but apparently there are a few stability issues with the current firmware and BTMM.  Also a few "gotchas" such as Time Machine won't talk to external drives connected to the Airport Extreme.  Perhaps Time Capsule may be the answer..

Sorry I can't offer any more yet, except that the annual sub to .Mac just appeared on the Visa at NZ$151....

Cheers

I'm not usually one to bad-mouth a product in general, but I have to say I've had no end of problems with the Airport Extreme.  IMO it's easily the worst Apple product I've owned - and I've owned a lot.  I'm on my second one now (first was a warranty replacement for continuous disconnections).  This latest one has got a dead WAN port.  I'll have it replaced again under warranty then it's going on Trade Me and I'm sticking with my Linksys WRT300N until I hear some consensus that the Airport is performing as one would expect it to.
