Hello well i have a macbook air. I downloaded utorrent but didn't realise that it only worked with windows. Is there a bit torrent client out there that works with a mac? thanks in advance :)

there are many :)

how speedy is your air?  given the form factor you might want to try something relatively light weight such as Transmission.  however, if you're air is up to the burden you could use Azureus, which as a lot of iptv type content as well as being a torrent app.

Havent really tried the speed out on it but ill give azureus a try and see what happens:)

Use Transmission its apparently a much lighter app. I have it, its nice, though I need to sort out my port forwarding to actually do any torrenting.

So now you know Windows programs don't run on Mac. With all the other issues you have had, I still wonder if the Air is the right machine from you? You could get one significantly more powerful, with all normal ports built in, that will natively run all your Windows apps for $1000 less. Where did you buy it from? DSE has a 14 day right of return.

I am loving my Macbook to bits though.

i didnt buy it i won it lol. Well i have two laptops my macbook air and also a windows one. However my windows laptop isnt working for some reason now :(. Ive got a thread on it under laptops - its on the main page now i think. 

Yeah im not really a fan of the macbook air i defiently prefer window laptops but im stuck with this one.

Thats True..i could sell the macbook air and put the money towards a new computer/laptop or just something else totally

I use Azureus myself, it's a bit more heavy weight than most other clients but it does have an excellent set of plugins (like IP blocking etc) to make life easier .. plus it is regularly updated.
