I'm running OSX 10.10.5.

Recently I've noticed a recurring issue where some websites won't load for me even though I can confirm via services like http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ that they are working fine.

I can also get them to load on my mobile so it's an issue specific to this machine.

For example, I cannot load kinfolk.com

The error I get in Chrome is:

This site can’t be reached
kinfolk.com’s server DNS address could not be found.
ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

Must be a DNS issue although I've tried flushing DNS cache with multiple different methods (found here https://coolestguidesontheplanet.com/clear-the-local-dns-cache-in-osx/) and still no luck.

Any suggestions for how to clear up DNS issues like this?

Try Google DNS if you can, not sure if you can do it on a MAC. Primary is 8.8.8.8 and secondary is 8.8.4.4
