Hi all,

Firstly, I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this question, it's about printing stuff overseas and finding the right printer for the particular job.

If anyone has had some experience with Chinese or Indian printers (or anywhere else cheap) for large, complex jobs, I'd love your advice!

My project is like this: 85 different documents, different sizes, colours, some are bound, some are stapled, some are folded, some need to go inside custom-made envelopes, audio CDs and video DVDs to be burnt and packaged. Basically there is this whole load of print and digital 'collateral' pieces.

Then, once these peices are all printed, they need to be collated and put inside a set of 4 ring binders. I need the ring-binders custom-made (or at least big enough to hold all the material. I looked into sourcing ring binders wholesale but until the mock-up is printed I don't know how big they'll need to be).

Then the 4 ring binders go inside a slip case.

I had a great printer in India all lined up but they've let me down at the last minute and I need another one. Can anyone reccommend a cheap printer that can handle a fiddly job like this, and capable of manufacturing ring binders?

Thanks so much, I really appreciate your help!
:)

Tricky! I've outsourced to India for development not printing though sorry I can't help much. I would be interested in hearing from others who have printed off shore in the past.
