Hi

I have a Huion Pro 12 Kamvas (drawing tablet) and a Macbook Pro 13 with Big Sur 11.5.1

I would like to be able to have my tablet displayed on a projector through my MacBook. So the current setup is:

  •

Tablet plugged into MacBook with HDMI (adapter)

  •

MacBook plugged into the projector through HDMI

what I get from this is almost ok...I have a screen on my MacBook with all my teaching stuff (good), my tablet with my drawing app open and functioning (good) BUT on the projector is another screen with nothing other than colourful swirls. When I look in the display settings I see three windows under the arrangement tab of the display.

What I would like to do is just have two: my MacBook screen (not showing on proj.) and the tablet screen (showing on the proj)

Is this possible? If so how?

Cheers

Pete

Can't remember if it's supported on Big Sur (I thing you can only have all as mirror or all as extended desktop), but on Monterey you can change the settings for each display and tell which one you want to mirror. e.g. go to the tablet display settings and set it as a mirror of the HDMI projector...
