so i have some videos on my windows laptop but the darn thing doesn't have an HDMI port. and i didn't bring the USB C dongle ...

 

but my M1 macbook has an hdmi port ....

 

can i connect to my windows laptop from the mac?

 

on another windows computer I can go to "network" and find my other computer can connect using login and password.

 

thanks.

 

PS if it can't be done i have other people in the house with windows computers that have HDMI ports that i can use

Need to  be on the same network 

 

Windows machine need to be sharing
