Rejoice! For Tahoe has been stuffed back in its coffin and a wooden stake driven right through its kernel....

Tough decision to hold out for .1 or .2 release vs go straight away to get rid of Tahoe. No not really... get rid of Tahoe ;-)

The comparison of Leopard/Snow Leopard, Lion/Mountain Lion is apt. Not much new but at least seems more consistent and stable.

How are you all finding it?

I've taken the plunge - clean install on all my devices and so far it is a lot smoother than when 26 was released - the UI has been cleaned up, none of the weird layered side panel, the UI is responsive etc. I've given Safari 27 a try and although it is perfectly fine in some aspects I still find that Wordpress 'daily writing promp' doesn't work properly, NZ Post YouShop is still broken even after having reported the bug to Apple. There is also a bug in the Apple Music app where you select Songs then enable column browser, start playing music and while the music plays you use another all then come back to find that the column browser has disappeared and now you're back to the list - that has been reported and something that started in the macOS 26 series.
