Hi,
I want to buy a new MacBook Pro 13", I'm a student so I will get the
student discount making it $2199. I'm going to university next year and want to buy one
soon. Should I buy it now or wait for Apple to bring back a student offer.
Any ideas on when the offer will be back.

Your guess would be as good as anyone's - Apple don't announce upcoming deals. If you don't need one now then no harm in waiting until closer to the start of the academic year and see what happens, if anything.

I'd at least wait until the new iPods are released in a couple of days

off-topic, so i apologise: but when are the new ipods coming out? i went into a store today to buy a nano and there was a sign up for pre-orders.

i can't bring myself to buy a soon-to-be old model... even if it is a gift for my tech-oblivious girlfriend. Upon investigation the new ones are going to be awesome with FM radio and Video recording capabilities, no minor upgrade IMO.

I think they do it to coincide with the start of the semester in the US, so whenever that it I guess.
