Hey there guys!

I've heard that the Griffin iMic is the most affordable "pre-amp" for Garageband recording. Not technically a pre-amp I know, but is it sufficient? Is there a more cost-effective solution?

This is basically for me mucking around on my electric guitar and recording some riffs. Nothing fancy required, just something that isn't quiet/buzzy/horrbie.

Cheers :-)

Hi thefatmould,

Thanks for the link! It's way more expensive than the iMic, but it definitely looks the business. I'll have to consider how much I want to sink into this little project.

Thanks heaps, keep the suggestions coming!

:-)
