I need to record an hour long interview and wondered if perhaps I could use my VM app.  Has anyone used it for that period of time successfully? I ask only because after a google search many seem to have had issues recording past the 35minute make although the posts were 2007 and maybe it has been resolved.

I have the 3g with 3.1 software - if that information is pertinent.

Thanks.

hi there, i have used the vm app for a number of uses never over 20 min or so, i dont see any problems that could cause it to stop or become corrupted though, if you keep checking the phone during the interview you should be fine, keep us posted sorry i cant be anymore help.

I have done multiple 50-70 minute recordings on my 3GS with no issue.

Also, there is a 'Mac OS X mobile' forum for iPhone/iTouch specific queries ;)

Hey Fossie

I'm sorry - thought I had posted in that forum.

Thanks for the info.

Thanks JoeBunting - I guess the only way I am gonna know for sure is if I do a practise run first. Althought I did grab a nifty recorder from www.freeappalert.com last night which promises to record only when voice is heard so that could be better.
