Try Traktor, it'll run on a pc or mac.

You can run it off a iphone/ipod touch using itunes dj or shuffle and turning on beat mix,
or Source yourself a copy of Mixmeister, you can get it to beat mix / crossfade like a real dj on turntables would.

Mixmeister is probably one of the better products for parties - especially if you want to set it and forget it.
