Do you mean buying direct through me MobileMe site or using a purchased box?

Because the site uses AUD it's usually cheaper to buy a box copy. But you'd have to check the exchange rate.

Also bear in mind you can get a cheaper subscription when you buy a new Mac, iPhone etc. If you or someone you know is buying one you might be able to get them to buy a copy for you and save $40.
