Don't do it ! Stick to a pc for the usb dongle...

Have had all sorts of issues trying to install the software on my mac and actually read a snapper usb stick. In fact still can't now...

First up I have to give the guys credit when I rang up to complain about the mac not reading my (supposed) mac-compatible usb stick - it was indeed the fact that the software was not installed (or installed incorrectly) that was the cause of the no-read.
Unfortunately this has turned out to be one of the most frustrating installations of my life.I work in IT, am pc literate, working on being mac literate.
So, My snapper uses the Adobe Air cross-platform software. Adobe Air on the Mac must be one of the worst applications to install..Surely the Snapper guys knew that Steve Jobs hated Adobe (no flash player on iphone ????). Bus error upon bus error - even adobe wanting $39 to look at fixing a similar problem.
First up, under Lion , Apple in their wisdom have decided not to install JRE as standard. Adobe Air needs that to function...A little bit of research identified this fact and it is duely installed...minor hurdle that one.
So have finally read (after scanning through many logs like look suspiciously like nucleus dumps - I pity the poor soul at Adobe that has to read these)  that when you install chrome or mozilla, Adobe Air may finally install. Installed chrome - Even the power of goggle could not get Air to install
Installed Mozilla - nice bit of "Facebook" resistant software that.
Finally Air installs…. All up about 3 hrs worth ...
However, Whenever I reboot or exit out of Mysnapper the next time I go into the application it has misteriously not closed properly last time. Thus decides to not launch. Reinstall...
After re-installing it three times My Snapper appears to be stable.
After reading on the My Snapper website that I need a "mac compatible" usb stick I went to your offices on Willis St.They issued me with a brand new pc one which isn't any better than my initial one. So off to the offices again tomorrow...
What more can I do ? How would Joe Bloggs (without any knowledge of their mac internals) get on ?
