Hi Guys,

A client has dropped a MacBook onto my desk which is running Windows 7 Ultimate along with OSX. The version of Windows on the machine is not legal, so I've been asked to put a purchased version of Windows 7 Professional 32-bit onto the machine.

I'm afraid I've never worked on a Boot Camp machine before and all of the documentation which I've seen online is all regarding new installations of Windows 7 into Boot Camp, but not how to re-install Windows.

Can anyone give me any tips on how I would go about doing this? - I'd be most greteful of your time.

Best Regards,
Jay

from there you will be able to format the old Win7 installation, so you can install over top.  I would definitely format to clean everything up etc

or if you want to repartition the disk you can do that from the Bootcamp Assistant utility
