So since no-one else is talking about this, what do we think?

Me - terrible name - I was really hoping Lion would be the end of the big cats. Some useful features but further iOS-ification isn't really for me. I could be wrong, but I've never used features like Launchpad in Lion...

I want to know if support for exchange 2003 will be added to mail, calendar and tasks like it is on my iphone and ipad.

I kinda like it, actually. I didn't feel as eager to try Lion out as I'm now feeling about this. AirPlay Mirroring is pretty cool.

I think it was inevitable that iMessage, Reminders, etc, would come to OS X.

Naming it Mountain Lion suggests it'll just be a refinement of Lion, much like what Snow Leopard is to Leopard, and the iPhone 4S to the 4 and so on.

I personally don't mind the iOS integration, I'm using the iMessage beta on my iMac now and it's quite handy.

iOS integration is cool, but I am getting sick of each and every update making Mac OS X into iOS. If I wanted to use Launchpad, Notification Centre, App Store and stuff like that, I'd use my iPad. I use my MacBook because I want to use Finder, Growl, and whatever app I want to install.

Quite a few cats names left. I like them using cats names, makes a change from these windows software manufactureres, who flip flop between versions numbers, years, and then generic letter. Waiting for 'Cougar'...

Does make you winder when OS 11 will come out. Or why not just remove teh '10' from teh name.

I've noticed that. Too bad I bought two new Logitech mice just before Lion came out (home and work).

Been trying to come up with an excuse to get the Trackpad.

Yep Mission Control is great, but I wouldn't consider that part of the unified iOS approach, more of an evolution of a pretty great and historical OS X feature.

Don't get me wrong, I'll continue to use Apple products...I'm 9 years into using OS X and it's still the best OS I've ever used - but I'm not a fanboy - I like to think I'm pretty even handed in my approach to computing, and I use Windows 7 and XP daily, as well as their server variants. But I live inside OS X.

I'm just not sold on some of the "stylistic" choices that have sprouted from the iOS approach - faux leather and wood framing - it's just vulgar. Launchpad - useless for me and in fact more of an effort than just using QS or the Dock.

I'm sure Notifications will be great, and unifying Messages is necessary. I just want my OS X apps to look like OS X apps, not iPad apps, and I don't want features to be ported just to make OS X computing easier on the masses when those features don't add or refine anything :) Each to their own and all that.

So is a panther (10.3) according to Wikipedia.

How about cloud leopard (iCloud leopard?)
