I must be thick as I am having a hard time finding NZ residential numbers online.
Whitepages.co.nz while being a favourite google result just results in error!.

NB I am not talking about business directory eg with finda.

cheers

whitepages.co.nz loads fine for me. Telecom broadband in Auckland.

What error are you seeing?

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

You should contact the IT dept at work and ask them to look at this. Perhaps they have a proxy that is not working correctly. Or the site is blocked for whatever reason.

Unless you are the IT person...

I believe that the whitepages website used to blacklist IPs they felt were "excessively" using the service, or using it for "business purposes".

Try ringing them:

You can also contact us at any time with the following contact information:

Free phone: 0800 803 803

Or if you can get to this page (which is yellow pages, and may or may not be blocked):

http://help.yellow.co.nz/yellow/contact-us/

there is an autoemail form to fill in.

thx for feedback - most helpful.

most probably a security / firewall issue given the nature of our setup.

I'll log appropriately

cheers

When I contracted to a large NZ bank both white pages and yellow pages websites were blocked as the bank refused to pay for access.

Imagine of google did that. But I am sure there are ways around it such as proxies.
