Haven't used any bad ones.
I have used C1 Mall? In Chch were all fine but they dissapeared one day after I had my HDDs for several months. Another shop would deal with my RMA for warranty, Seagate had the faulty firmware at the time. Failing that Seagate could be dealt directly with the NZ supplier too.

My good experiences been. Computer Lounge, Paradigm PC, Ascent. The first and 3rd we have dealt with warranty claims, all fine too, 24hr response after they received the faulty part.

Edit - some 10+ years ago Quay Computers in Wellington. Bought a CD drive but they wouldn't acknowledge it was them basically saying we were lying. We had receipt but we just buy online these days and probably since 2004. Despite a physical store, they provide prompter service and more professional customer service / response than some bricks/mortar stores.

And maybe for 20yrs ago in Wellington (Featherston St), there was a store that sold me a second hand 3.5" floppy drive. Second Byte. They also tried to add in ridiculous amounts of sales tax on the invoice too. Someone else I know sold them a broken computer that wouldn't work.

They are ALL Chinese based and shipping can be slow, but the shipping is often free making the prices even better !
I have bough stuff from all of these companies. Bough my Oscilloscope from Goodluckbuy.com and saved myself hundreds of dollars.

No bad ones tend to avoid the cheapest ones
Both Playtech and computer lounge get the thumbs up from me.

Just remember no retail store no matter how good their reputation will get it right 100% of the time.

I have had good experiences with Computerlounge and Monoprice. However, with Monoprice you want to be ordering a fair bit as, while their item costs are fairly low, their fixed-rate shipping charge to NZ doesn't make the proposition economic for low-value orders.

PB, computer lounge, aquire are my go to ones now. Used to use xp computers in newmarket heaps, but gave up after many times they lied about their stock on things even on the phone before I went in or ordered.

edit: and sometimes playtech.

Recently built gaming desktop, some parts bought from Amazon using YouShop, rest was Playtech and my monitor was from Bluewheel (PBTech's online store which seems to undercut PBTech)

pp.co.nz are also good. Their website isn't that great, but they have been around for many years.
