anyone had any updates or feedback from Semble. I've emailed them a couple of times but seems like nobody's home. Guess they're out the back shed "'sembling" stuff

There are now a lot of people using Semble in a pretty large scale trial. It seems to work really well.

As of late Jan I thought the public launch was still scheduled for February or March.

Not sure, they post occasionally on twitter about it, but they haven't given me it yet, which means their process is flawed in some way

The trial is going pretty well. Commercial launch is definitely this year and sooner rather than later, but it's not my place to say anything else ;)

Good News Everyone :D (edit: avatar of above poster is relevant)
Now fingers crossed my Nexus 5 is a prime candidate hardware compatibility wise.

Perhaps they could put me on the trial to find out!

Yeah pretty much. Currently only available on Android but on a decent range of NFC-capable devices.

Looking forward to it. ASB said they were trialling it quite some time ago so figured it couldn't be far off.

Does it mean that apart from the bank we're also sharing our purchasing habit and location to another third party?
