My Sony Xperia E3 is forever short of space for virtually any app update

I'd replace my son's truly awful Alcatel Pixi which even with only one app installed on it no longer has the memory to do any updates (too much bloatware); at the moment it's keeping my yarn company while he uses my old Samsung s4 which can at least update the necessary apps and has a battery that lasts the school day!

The Motorola moto e5 would be a great replacement for my ageing Note 3. I would love the much better battery, camera and display on the e5.

No matter what Donald Trump say's about ZTE I don't think it will help this old Telecom R880h 

If I turn it off It's pretty random about turning back on again.

I cant even get the right firmware to reload.

In the mean time I miss out on getting those cute candid photos of my 2 year old that actually look good when printed.

A new Motorola moto e5 would get me over the phone envy I have for my wife's Nokia 5 that I bought her for Christmas.

I wish myself good luck.....

If I won, I'd gift the phone to my very supportive partner. I have no need for a cellphone.

It seemed like a good idea at the time, but even though its a Motorola, wood belongs in trees.....

In days of yore, phones were dumb, small and pretty except for the iTentacles encircling the phoneworld. Then spake Samsung: "Let there be phablets!" and behold, the Galaxy Note came to be. And it was very, very good.

Calls. Music. Movies. He took them on and triumphed with ease. The superhero of the smartphone world!

But yesteryear's superhero can no longer serve my wife as he should, poor phablet. Frequently he groans about insufficient memory, stutters at Skype and throws a complete wobbly on Google Maps.

Please help us retire him to bask in the glory of his illustrious past, where some shall speak in hushed whispers of the phablet that's kept going for 7 years. Surely now it's time for a well earned rest!

(And we won't breathe a word of the sexy new Moto behind the curtain, waiting to take his place!)

Well, after taking into account I'm last in line after wife, child 1, child 2 and the dog for a replacement phone, I am left with the following budget to replace my ageing ZTE "Smart" phone:

Therefore, my one and only chance to join the age of halfway decent connectivity before the turn of the decade is to win this Motorola moto e5!

A little bit broken, with a screen that doesn't quite work properly in all areas. The nexus4 is due for replacement. 

Ye olde phone is my trusty Samsung Galaxy J2

When new it was great, so good that my mother & wife have them too.  It was a good price ($150ish on special, locked to 2degrees), has an AMOLED screen, and at the time Android 5.1 wasn't too long in the tooth.

But the 8GB internal storage gets eaten up by ever increasingly large apps (Speedtest is >50MB, SRSLY?), the 1GB RAM mean apps lose their context all the time...

What I really want is a phone OS that is as light as Windows 95 or Linux from the late 90s, on modern hardware.  That would take essentially no battery, and fly.

my nexus' battery is only half as good. powers down when it gets to the range of 40-50%.

my nexus 5x has already had 1 bootloop fix, another is inevitable! 

My daughter would love this to replace her seriously beaten up samsung
