Currently on Inspire wireless, and to be honest, Orcon won't be able to supply me with fibre in my location. I could certainly do with some new gaming gear, though!
I am using a well-worn Razer headset, homemade gaming keypad, CM110 gaming mouse, giant Razer mousepad, and swivel office chair.
If I could get fibre, I can't say whether it would improve my gaming experience - I have no issues with my current provider's service, and extra speed isn't going to make much difference unless it also improves my ping. Currently ~60ms to AU and ~200 to HK WoT servers

Ah, the idyllic rural life . . .

  • no cellphone reception
  • no UHF TV reception
  • no ADSL

I'm surprised I still have my sanity!

Current broadband connection:
Gigabit Fibre

Gaming setup:
Just a regular keyboard, mouse and headset.

How would a Fibre Pro connection improve your gaming?
No issues currently, but it might have slightly lower latency.

  • What is your current broadband connection: Fibre - I saw a plot of land in the countryside where I could see a green conduit - so I bought the land and built a house on it.
  • Do you have a gaming setup? Yes. I have a Lightspeed Logi Keyboard which I...don't use for gaming ;-) But I do have a PS5/4/3 and XBox something.
  • How would a Fibre Pro connection improve your gaming? Low latency is always a advantage as is a fixed IP ;-)
  • Pictures attached. Sorry, it's a bit dark.

Currently running on Spark UFB.

Gaming setup includes a desktop gaming system (AMD 5600X with 3070ti), a PS5 in the lounge, PS4 and 3 in the spare room, a Nintendo Switch that travels around the house, mobile phones and my oldest son's gaming laptop. That's about it.

Fibre pro would mean the internet doesn't slow to a crawl when we have multiple users on at the same time.

Thanks Geekzone, Orcon and Razer for this opportunity!

What is your current broadband connection (xDSL, fibre, satellite, dial-up) and do you have a gaming setup?

Fibre 300

How would a Fibre Pro connection improve your gaming?

Fibre Pro would mean I could download 100gb+ games without aggravating my wife who is trying to watch Netflix in the other room.

In town, Trustpower fibre 200Mbps, no connected games

In the country, AirFibre WISP ~30Mbps.  Main feature/benefit is that it works

We currently have Vodafone Cable unlimited.
We have enough bits to play games, but it is lacking.
Gaming would be so much more confident, exciting, and relaxed (after the game) with this great setup!

I use Fibre connection. I have a gaming setup. I think gaming for me with better wifi will help me win more games due to less ping as that is a big issue in my house and I think having internet from a great company like that will help me achieve my goals in gaming.

Currently using 100/100 Fibre through bigpipe.

I have a gaming setup, however the gaming PC is about 6 years old and not to mention my computer chair is falling apart, would be great to win a new one!!! :)

Having a Fibre pro connection would increase my gaming experience tremendously with lower latency. I also upload gaming videos to youtube, so having a faster upload speed would definitely help a lot!

My current broadband connection is fibre. My gaming setup is nothing more than a regular laptop and/or a mobile phone... but I do have a controller in a box somewhere just waiting for a gaming setup to materialise in the house.

A Fibre Pro connection would mean I can participate in gaming while others in the household stream things, but realistically I won't get time because I'm too busy with both work and study so the younger members of the household will appreciate the better gaming experience - with up to three gaming girls in the house at a time Fibre Pro would make them very happy! Bonus: I could continue working without glitches or having to turn off video and I'm happy too :)

No picture because the device I'm on can't take a picture of itself but use your imagination to fill in the blanks here:
