Stickers on nectarines and tomatoes (apples are bad enough, bananas I'm Ok with).

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

Stickers on any fruit. Is this a conspiracy to annoy people as much as possible? Why the hell do they have to use such strong adhesive on apples?

To use an analogy, places that take their responsibilities seriously over this will check your ID before selling you alcohol even if you appear to be old enough for it.

Wasting most of a day just collecting and chasing up missing bits of detail rather than actually completing any work.

Also, what’s worse than stickers on fruit n veggies? A sticker perfectly covering up a blemish that would have otherwise rendered the fruit a big nope like I had in my lunch box this morning.

As in; What's worse than biting into your apple and finding a worm?

Finding half a worm.

Why does every single multitool and similar EDC-style tool ever include a bottle opener? It's useful to have a small EDC tool on you whose typr can vary depending on use, e.g. for travel scissors, tweezers, screwdriver, for technical stuff a bigger range of screwdrivers, a spudger, etc, but every single one of them has a large amount of space taken up by a -ing bottle opener. The one thing I have never, ever, ever used, or needed to use, on any multitool is a bottle opener.

That's the one thing that is NOT on my Topeak multitool.

Doesn't it normally form part of a flat screwdriver and tin opener at the same time?

On some non-specialty multitools, I guess it does.

Yeah, I've seen that on pocket knives, they've managed to combine a crap screwdriver with a crap tin opener and a useless bottle opener which could well be crap too if I ever used it. So you get three lots of suckage for the price of one, all taking up the space of the largest element, the bottle opener.

Was driving down a straight 80km speed limit road this morning. Saw a white 4WD ute pull out from a stop sign / T junction. All my 20 odd years of driving experience radar put me on alert. Maybe it was the lazy left turn.

And sure enough, truck crosses the center line (well over the line) and I had to swerve to avoid getting side swiped!!!

It was clear that, that person was doing something else apart from driving! Didn't have time to get number plate, so they get away with it. In hindsight I should have done a U turn to get details.

This is why I have Gmail only as a backup.
