Mark:Flyspray that does NOTHING! The flys here are treating the "RAID Flying Insect Killer" as though it is a refreshing spritz .. "Fast Kill" my a..e!

It is "Fast Kill" if you hit the fly WITH the can! That's where you are going wrong 😀.

That my power over ethernet switch that runs literally everything networking here decided that it would rather stop providing power. I am assuming its a heat related thing. Powercycled it and its now back again.

However my cloudkey which has now been powered down improperly seems to have lost part of its mind. 404 for the :8443 port and

Or, if you're like my wife and you empty the entire contents of one can on each fly so the poor bugger drowns and suffocates before the chemicals have any chance to do their job.

I think if you live in Europe it's a matter of some concern, especially to those of us who grew up with thousands of Russian tanks sitting 2 hours away.

Here, it is at least a reminder that elsewhere there are very real and serious concerns over and above playing Baby Shark on the front lawns of Parliament! 😎

If I had to guess, I would say that they need to have staff to monitor the transactions in case something goes wrong and those people don't work on the weekends? I know ASB explicitly state that they transfer to other banks twice an hour from 9:00am until 11:00pm on business days. I would assume the other banks do the same, at best.

Edit: I think transferring between your own accounts (with ASB) happens in real-time 24/7 but I suppose that is all within their own systems, so easier to manage. N.B. The above is a big improvement to the "2-3 business days" we all used to be happy enough with.

if its to a different bank it likely wont show till monday

if you read the fine print prior to making the transfer it should have told you when the transaction would be processed, ie after 10pm on Friday it wont be processed till 9am Monday or something like that.

pretty much every bank is like that.

I think I live in Europe ;-) and the fact that the Ukrainians themselves are making less of a fuss than the West is the real cause for concern for me.

Something that annoys me is people that are calling it torture and other stupid things when songs like baby shark are being played constantly to people who are at a place thru their own free choice and can just leave.

Macca's penny pitching change in policy of moving from free coffee for Gold Card holders to charging $2 whereas it's still free at BK.

Were Macca's losing so much money on OAP's having free coffee?

And in the same vein

Metlink offering free travel for Gold Card holders from 9pm to 3pm week days and then after 6:30pm while Auckland Transport offers free travel after 9am until midnight.
