Laugh if you like, but that car would probably be worth a fair bit, if properly restored.

For example.

New York winter's aren't kind. Lots of road salt used. Also any car stored outside with open windows is usually a "goner".

It's probably nothing but holes. If you don't have a reasonable starting point, it's probably a lost car.

Having said that "patina" trucks and vans are popular. If someone found an abandoned vehicle in the Rangipo Desert, maybe... https://hiveminer.com/Tags/f100%2Cpatina

Here's a car that couldn't be revived, despite corporate sponsors. It did have an alternate use to transportation though.

This from an article about Oslo in Stuff

"and even a beach - stretching for more than 5.5 miles (9km) around the headlands adjacent to the water."

Passenger finds flight attendant in overhead bin, tells budget USA "Southwest Airlines" to "please get it together"

What would you do if you boarded a plane, opened up an overhead bin to store your luggage -- and found a flight attendant in there?

You might shoot video of the scene and post it to Twitter.

"We add value through content helping consumers to get inspiration and to guide their shopping journey."

Not a headline, but so stupid and overblown that it really, really annoyed me. From an RNZ article on The Warehouse online shopping, quoting some PR monkey. Shopping is buying something. It is not a mystical experience. Who the hell goes on a 'shopping journey' anyway? I am a committed vegetarian but the metrosexual who came up with that line really needs to eat some meat!

I like these better:

* Raccoons drunk on apples cause false rabies scare in US state

* This is a story about a stoned raccoon at a fire station

Headline: "Liam Hemsworth breaks silence over Miley Cyrus split"

Article: ""You don't understand what it's like. I don't want to talk about it mate," he added."

Followed by 18 short, one sentence paragraphs of completely unrelated text.

And it's someone who is paid to have opinions that are mildly controversial to maintain ratings.

The whole "reporting about what a reporter's opinions are" just seems incestuous to me. But if *she* thinks its controversial enough to have an opinion on, then to Stuff it's ideal click-bait without needing an iota of thought or judgement.

Perhaps I am being unfair here, but I imagine Barry hasn't given eSport much thought, either. She gave a very shallow "first impressions" opinion, and for some reason this remark is news worthy of stinking up at least three of their front page headline categories.

Hilary Barry is shallow, silly and irritating. Her 'opinions' don't count.

And she has obviously never heard of chess, long regarded as a legitimate sport. Add dumb to the above.
