Laugh if you like, but that car would probably be worth a fair bit, if properly restored.

"We add value through content helping consumers to get inspiration and to guide their shopping journey."
Not a headline, but so stupid and overblown that it really, really annoyed me. From an RNZ article on The Warehouse online shopping, quoting some PR monkey. Shopping is buying something. It is not a mystical experience. Who the hell goes on a 'shopping journey' anyway? I am a committed vegetarian but the metrosexual who came up with that line really needs to eat some meat!

Stop the presses! Someone has an opinion!
And it's someone who is paid to have opinions that are mildly controversial to maintain ratings.
The whole "reporting about what a reporter's opinions are" just seems incestuous to me. But if *she* thinks its controversial enough to have an opinion on, then to Stuff it's ideal click-bait without needing an iota of thought or judgement.

Perhaps I am being unfair here, but I imagine Barry hasn't given eSport much thought, either. She gave a very shallow "first impressions" opinion, and for some reason this remark is news worthy of stinking up at least three of their front page headline categories.

Hilary Barry is shallow, silly and irritating. Her 'opinions' don't count.

And she has obviously never heard of chess, long regarded as a legitimate sport. Add dumb to the above.
