If you thought you won $50 million then you didn't read your ticket properly, considering there were no 'true' first division winners.

sitting at home last night with the winning ticket thinking i've won 50 million and finding out next day you have "only" won 5 million. Would you be disappointed ?

I think I'd be disappointed for a little bit, sure, it's quite a considerably drop, even though it's also quite a considerable sum. I'd be estatic to win 5m :)

If only I could check my ticket.....

the KFC delivery guy, who turned up with a black hoodie over his head, black trousers and a full black mask. all you could see were 2 eyes. If he wasn't carrying a kfc bag i would have called the cops😀

The reaction from my youngest boy after he went for a ride for the first time on his "new" mountain bike (my old full-suspension bike I owned for 15 years before buying a new hard tail for myself about 18 months ago).

His exact words, "This bike is AWESOME! It's like a million percent upgrade on my old bike and is so light. I feel like I don't hate riding for a while".

So yeah...he's pretty happy, which makes me pretty happy.

No matter what the broken item is, there's almost always some helpful site or video out there, showing how to dismantle the thing or even fix it.

For someone who is an inveterate fixerupperer teh interwebs is brilliant.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the sole labelled cable has the wrong label, it was recycled from use elsewhere.

I took my old bike that's now been gifted to my youngest son to have the pedals swapped from my clip-in pedals to some flats I had laying around so he can have an easier time riding his new rig.

Quoted $10 and a day's downtime as they're super busy and need to charge me something for labour...

Get the bike down there in the wind and rain and the bike mechanic simply says, "wait there mate I'll whip those off and put on the new ones for ya right here" (at the door, under cover).

5 min later it's all done and no charge.

Of course it's not riding weather today, but that's OK - excellent service, from my local bike shop as always.
