Overuse of youtubisms eg throwing in memes and silly unnecessary jokes into what could have otherwise been a great video.

Geektastic: In 8 months, I’ll be the same age Julius Caesar was when he was assassinated.

His net worth at that time in current money has been estimated at USD4.5 trillion.

He leaves me feeling very inadequate on so many levels. I’ve conquered zero countries, won zero famous military victories and made nowhere near that much money.

It’s annoying that we just don’t get the same opportunities these days.

Perhaps you could look at it from the perspective that every day you survive past Julius Caesar’s age without being stabbed to death by ‘friends’ and colleagues is a bonus over and above what JC achieved. 😁

Whats the device? That seems a little short even for them to be EOLing things.

Some old PC that used to be running Vista. Can't remember the exact wording of the error message but essentially it was "You can't upgrade from Gibbon? to Indri, it sucks to be you". And the old trick of manually hacking configs and downloading and running the old install doesn't work because one of the intermediate versions you need to go through has been physically removed from the old-releases site so there's a gap from where you are now to where you want to go.

Are you sure it was an Avondale and not a huntsman? The latter are far more common and frequently mistaken for Avondales, I escorted one outside just a few days ago.

If you have your sights on matching Julius Caesar it could be more achievable than you think. It was Octavian/Augustus that had the USD4.6 trillion. Julius was more on a par with Bill Gates @ US$100 billion.

I was under the impression that they were different names for the same thing. I'm not really in the mood to investigate further at present... maybe tomorrow when the sun's out!

Well that explains it! I was wondering about the size of the bedroom if Avondale fits in it - let alone the size of the house and property.

If it rips your head off and eats it in situ it's an Avondale, if it drags you back to its lair and chews your face there it's a huntsman.

A quick google indicates that it's an Australian huntsman, but called an Avondale here because of where they were first found. So yeah, same thing.

Well that makes it so much easier. Should be done by June. Thanks!
