That had already popped up in my feed. First few minutes looks/sounds great. Need to put aside some time to watch the whole thing but , errr, I'm busy :-).

Unless you like a bit of mudlarking the Manukau gets a bit overlooked.
Knowing about the fossil forests like Takapuna as a South Aucklander, but not closer to home.

This channel "Out There Learning" has a lot of good stuff on NZ landscape and Geology.
May include places you might be near on your holidays to give a bit of extra perspective.

He's done some awesome 'tubes on Rangitoto island's lava flows, as well as Bayleys Beach sand dunes, and how they ebb and glow through the millennia.

At Bayleys beach, there are easily visible ash deposits from eruptions 35000 years ago.

Those look like camels, but they are actually Wargs, the wolf-like creatures often ridden by orcs in battle on Middle Earth.

It's the the Australian Nullarbor plains stock footage.

03:01:00. Might be flooded farmland and not exactly relaxing. The mountain paddocks in the top left don't look like anything I've seen. The messy forestry is all too familiar. The white marks below the mountain paddocks look odd in close up. Several aspects of that scene make me wonder if it is AI generated.

That's actually Glenorchy, New Zealand at Lake Wakatipu. It doesn't look real, but it's actually willow trees.

Drone flies up Mount Everest.

Unrelated NASA is talking about a six rotor drone on Mars. Nowhere on Mars has atmospheric conditions comparable to Mount Everest. Everest’s pressure level is approximately 37 times higher than Mars's maximum pressure.

I hope NASA makes Elon Musk the first man on Mars, preferably today. I'm sure all his children, but one, agree.

NASA sent a space probe to the sun, which has survived around Christmas time.

Superman frequently gets rid of threats by throwing them into the sun. Contrary to what the comic books tell you, hitting the sun in hard. The "easiest" way to do it would be 90 degrees away from the sun, backwards from the Earth orbit with so much energy it would likely immediately shatter.
