Fred99:

"Long Island Iced Tea shares rose as much as 289 per cent after the unprofitable Hicksville, New York-based company part-owned by Kiwi Eric Watson rebranded itself Long Blockchain."

I'd have put that in the annoys me thread. "Oh we're a diversified tea and blockchain company". All hype.

That my Jack Russell (small) is healthy again after being struck down with an infection last week that nearly took him from his. He's 14 and lived a good life but he's still got some fight in him.

Likewise that my 11 year old Vizsla is recovering well from his third surgery to remove a tumour that keeps returning. Looking forward to a happier dog once he's fully healed.

Please explain.

He has a show on HGTV 'vanilla Ice' project where he buys large houses in Florida and redecorates them in his own distinctive 'style'

I find it amusing that a former rapper who tried so hard to be tough is now an interior decorator.

I suspect Geektastic didn't know that Vanilla Ice referred to a musician (or a human being).

This gave me chuckle.  This morning I was boarding an AirNZ flight.

Boarding was held up momentarily by a passenger repeatedly and unsuccessfully scanning a boarding pass (at an AirNZ boarding kiosk), despite the gate attendant (in AirNZ uniform) asking her to step aside and let other passengers board. The boarding pass turned out to be for a JetStar flight departing a different gate, at a different time yell
