Didn't love the original and I do like this a bit more, though there isn't the same edge as the lead singer of Kings of Leon can produce.

A slightly more upbeat version of Kris Kristofferson's Sunday Morning Coming Down.

This is one of my favourite songs of all time. I have listened to it many hundreds if not thousands of times. I have never heard a a cover of it I didn't hate, but I really really like this one.

It's on my bucket list to be able to play this on guitar one day.

A few months ago, listening to Spotify and it does that thing where it plays the song you asked for and then a bunch of music it thinks you might like, it played a cover of Africa by Toto which was a Duet between what I believe was a younger male and female, which I quite liked. I can't seem to find it since, anyone got any ideas on who it might have been that covered it?

Maybe a Dire Straits duet is more your thing?

I think I've posted it before, but Miley Cyrus does a fantastic version of Jolene as well.

That Backyard Sessions displays Miley's real true talent - she could easiliy inherrit her Godmother's role as the Queen of Country Music.

NZ's own Darcy Clay did Jolene like nobody else - a chaotic rendition that's so far from Dolly's original that it's barely even a cover. Recorded in his own bedroom, a reminder of a brilliant musical genius whose talent blazed like a comet for far too short a time.

It's not often you find a cover by the original band but Tom Petty said it himself "You haven't heard The Waiting until you've heard Eddie Vedder sing it"

Tom & Eddie had a great personal friendship that extended into sharing stages - Tom with Pearl Jam & Eddie with The Heartbreakers. I think that The Waiting is the standout performance from the collaboration of 2 of the great American musicians of the last 30-40 years.
