pageweon: pick axe would be the best .. pointy and with a moderate weight .. perfect head piercing instrument

Oh, oh, oh! Imagine weilding two ice picks! They would be a formidable set of weapons, they are sharp, light and have straps to hold them to your arms.

Hmm might have to invest in some :)

Preview epsisode of The Walking Dead aired on US TV last week, looks freaken awesome!!

I have read the comics and apart from deviating slightly the series looks like it will follow them pretty closely.

If I was in a zombie attack/infection, I would grab a motorbike to get around blocked cars, drive to this place http://www.tanksforeverything.co.nz/ and get the FV432 as it has room for supplys, or a MBT as they are cool. I would then drive it to a gun shop, and pick up weapons by driving it through the safety glass, and stop off at a) the dairy and b) army surplus store.

Then I would park-up somewhere for however long I need to, in an open field or the like, and moving to a different location when running low on food/water.

Solar pannels would be good also, so I dont have to run the tank to get power, waisting diesel.

I would have thought the best place would be a supermarket or mall?

It would be mean if you had a hunting shop there too. Then you've got guns, ammo, food, toilets...

You're set! The hardest part would be company =)
Still. I like it.

A Six Flags park, closed in New Orleans... Could it be like that?

just add bodies, blood, flies, zombies and a handfull of survivors and you wil have the set for an awesome movie!

After 5 years, most of the world would be like that (in a zombie apocolypse)
After 5 years, only the most prepared will adapt and survive.

Very interesting read about what happened to that park following the Hurricane.
