Death Sentence with Kevin Bacon. Suprisingly good. Didn't think it would be any good as I tend not to like his movies. A reasonably good action/suspense kinda flick. Possibly 7/10

I would highly suggest Baraka : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baraka_(film)

96 minutes without a single dialogue or word spoken

I've just bought the Bluray DVD .....awesome

CHANGELING: 6/10
Gripping story and very, very sad indeed. Just flows along in a very paint-by-numbers fashion unfortunately.

ROLE MODELS: 6/10
Average American comedy with some decent LOL moments, but you know exactly where it's gonna go the whole way through. Very transparent but some really good gags.  Paul Rudd, once again, plays a bitter cynic who has just broken up with his girlfriend, I swear he plays the some role in every movie.

Seven Pounds: Was told it was good and crap all at the same time.  That about sums up the film to be honest. 5/10

saw Watchmen last night. Was thoroughly unimpressed. The movie was too long and the story was just a bit too slow. Heard good things about it compard to previous comics turned movies. But to be honest I found Elektra to be more enjoyable. Definitely no more than a 5/10.

10/10 from me.  Can't really compare the Watchmen graphic novel adaptation to any other type of "comic" movie adaptation like Elektra, Spiderman, Iron Man or X-Men - it's a completely different style and genre.  If you have to compare it to anything, think more along the lines of Sin City or 300 - to which in my mind it fits very well into the genre.

i see what youre saying but i honestly dont think it was that good. i really rated 300 when that came out but i was rather ho-hum towards sin city. guess its just not my type of genre.

The Day Keanu Reeves bored me to death... I mean, The Day The Earth Stood Still.

BOOOOORING.  Transparent garbage.

Also, "The Unborn"... trashy American horror that tries to capture the creepiness of Japanese horror, but fails miserably. Some good genuinely scary moments but terrible dialogue and acting. Might have enjoyed it when I was 12.  And it rips off Steven King's "The Dark Half" something chronic!

In Bruges

Holed up in Bruges, Belgium after a difficult job, two hit men begin to differ on their views of life and death as they become used to local customs.

Odd movie, but really enjoyed it overall Smile
