Including me sometimes.
I didn't fall, I was just checking gravity.
Yr.no weather app, it used to be pretty good. When a little rainfall is predicted it's pretty much been "heavy rain today" for the last week. And today, none at all predicted but.... I guess it loves that moisture.
Background: I wanted a tight fit so cut them fairly close to 45mm wide, they were OK when dry-fitted but a fraction out when screwed to the wall, in hindsight the dry-fit would have pulled the sides into place while having them fixed to the wall didn't allow for a fractional mm of movement for a tight fit.
Companies that do surveys and ignore the results. I got one from Food Bag a few weeks ago. Under the free-text comments field I put something like "This fell on deaf ears when I said it last time, and the time before that, but please test the recipes before putting them out."
Tonight's ingredient list calls for "1/2 sesame seeds". At least they've managed to say "1/4 cup corn" instead of the traditional "1/4 can cup corn" this time. It remains to be seen whether the next recipe with vermicelli includes the cut-and-pasted template text that contradicts itself in two places...
^ may we know which food delivery service it was? Just checked and both myfoodbag and hellofresh list their recipes online. Do the online versions have the same errors?

On my amazon order of redbull and other stuff. It tracked to highbrook and then this. Whats the bet the package broke and they are all enjoying the drinks.
So it arrived. No damage.
Great except that I ordered more when they said it was going back and I was going to get refunded. The redbull is fine because I will drink it anyway and I'm not short on cash but I dont really have use for the extra USB hubs.

We use Woop and the printed recipe cards will often contain errors. Sometimes they will email my wife to inform us of a correction but often they don't. Usually its not too bad and we can make out what the recipe calls for but once it was completley gobbledygook so we looked up the recipe online and the error had been rectified on the website.

Still waiting for a reply to my email Saturday - confirmed received by 2D! Sheesh, they must have a lot to reply to!
I'm still annoyed!
Auckland transport's response to my hop card query
I queried a $2.70 missing tag on fee that I incurred after travelling Hamilton - Papakura - Britomart on Te Huia & the Southern line on 10/11 & explained where I tagged my Hop card, hoping to get some information on if/where I went wrong.
Their response - "We understand you were charged default fare on 02 November 2022. This is due to a missing tag. We've processed a refund of $3.40 onto your AT HOP card."
sigh.
If they don't know, or can't tell, it'd be nice if they'd say that, rather than the "here's a credit, bye" type response they've provided.

People don't read and if they read they don't understand.
I have submitted a request for a specific hardware to be used in a specific manner. The reply I got was "this piece of hardware is used for A, not for B, so I suggest you use something else like..."
To which I replied, "I understand it's used for A and it would be silly to use for B. But it's indeed to be used as C".
"C" in this case is completely different use case, unlike A or B, which they failed to understand on my first request.

A bit like when you go into a shop and can't find an X. "Do you have an X?" you ask. "Why do you want it?" comes the response. They get all indignant when you reply "I want to buy it"!

"Carnal pleasure" is the appropriate response to this question.
Every time.
Even if it's a 65" TV. Or a Ute.

Amazon AU delivery forecasts. Previously, delivery has been quick but I've bought a few items in the last week where on the item screen it says "Free delivery to NZ by (say) 14 Dec", and then when you go to checkout it jumps to 26 or 30 Dec. Not clear what's going on, but I hope the delivery is before Christmas
