Leave the doors to a very high deck open and the radio on?
Nope, you're right .. I don't have one at the moment ...

Keen to win as well. Just a bunch of locked doors at home right now. :/

This is the current security system. It has 100% success rate so far, but will have to be replaced soon as the vendors seem completely uninterested in developing an app.

The timing couldn't be better this system looks sweet.
This topic itself is a gold mine for burglars. Thanks everyone for providing this information about your security systems. This was TRAP.. Good work Mauricio.. ![]()

enough of jokes:
Well, My security system is my old neighbor and friend, who is always at home and keeps an eye at my place too..and yes he gets grumpy seeing strangers walking into the property..
Having said that, it will be nice to get the CleverLoop Smart Home Security System- this will give him some peace..
Edited: and I am not going to tell you about my another hidden security system..
Our security system in called Erma. She lives next door, is home all day and doesn't miss a thing. All vehicles down our shared driveway are recorded in a notebook and she's proudly worked out how to use her mobile phone to take pictures of anything suspicious.

Just locks. Was keen on Canary but never got around to buying one.

For those burglars who can read :-).
When I pointed out to the local Police authorities 13 years ago obvious deficiencies of the New Zealand security alarm monitoring system - the reply I've got mentioned among other things the very low level of local offenders.... So folks you would have hoped they still can't read....
Currently have a 20 year old DSC Pc1500 alarm panel that randomly goes on the fritz and starts beeping and waking me up in the middle of the night at home and a Paradox panel at work that has sensors that trigger false alarms, but apparently they only trigger between 1am and 6am so as to ensure maximum disruption to my sleep. So basically, I have alarm systems that are better at sleep disruption than burglar detection. Some handy remote cameras and apps for my smartphone would go a long way to validating false alarms while I'm in bed fielding phone calls from the alarm monitoring company! Currently I have a really old Swann Max IP Cam which I can't get to send audio anymore - working audio feed would be awesome
I hear the faded yellow plastic look of my alarm panel now makes it a fashionable antique:

Awesome. Here's my home security system. A black panther soft toy faithfully guarding my front door.

I have some Neighbourhood Watch stickers on my windows :)
