I have one CleverLoop Smart Home Security System to giveaway. The one I have here comes with the base station, an indoor HD camera and an outdoor HD camera. Using the mobile app you can arm/disarm the system, automatically arm it when you leave a certain area (based on your smartphone's GPS), check video events, etc. You can check our CleverLoop review here.

Here is a video of a burglar being caught in action and police attending the incident:

How to Enter: reply in this thread with what is your current security system - double entry points if you post an image of said "system" (upload the image to Geekzone and use the BBCODE provided). Be creative here folks.

General rules: one entry per user only in our competition. One winner will be randomly selected. Winner will receive the CleverLoop system with the base station, an indoor and an outdoor camera. This giveaway closes 30th March 2016 (New Zealand time). Winner will be selected in a random draw and contacted via PM. After confirmation we will post winner' username in this topic. Once confirmed winner will receive the prize by mail.

Email notification: this topic may get quite busy, so if you don't want to receive email notifications when new replies are posted, remember to uncheck the "E-mail me when someone replies to this post" option. An unsunscribe option is always sent with every email.

Don't have a security system, so this one would come in handy.

Unfortunately the only security we have is our dog. And my wife is constantly saying to me that we need to do something but alas money is too tight. Reason she is so afraid(genuinely afraid too) is because when she was living in auckland she got burgled and she was in the house at the time, so you could say she has a phobia. This would change that for her :) Would be amazing for her to not have to worry about that. we only got the dog for security too

Current security is like udders on a bull...

They wag their tails or sleep... undecided

Also need outdoor camera to see what birds they chase during the day and indoor camera to see what the kelpie eats... Things like the dining table, couch, coffee table, chairs....

Note back of chairs and printer table....

We currently have some Bosch pir sensors that flash blue when they sense movement - great as a deterrent, but dont set any alarm off

My security "system" is a ginger tripod.

If he wakes, he meows a LOT.
If it doesn't drive you away, it'll drive you insane.

Alas I have no alarm system.  I have a pregnant wife and 3 year old son that may count, depending on whether she can move quickly or not...  Having one would be rather useful given the acceleration of said wife is much slower these days...

Edit: I would post picture of said wife and child but that might be considered to be giving the game away and allowing potential nasty people an opportunity to work out her weaknesses :-P

Yeah, I reckon our vicious attack cat will do the trick:

The fact he thinks he is Al Bundy is a bonus for scare points.

But I have been looking to get one of those fake cameras with the blinky light that runs on a battery, because we all know burglars are scared of blinky lights.  I hear Dick Smith might be having a sale on these?

SafeGard monitored Bosch security system.

Next step is to get some cameras so the Cleverloop system is perfect.

Current security system is a Logitech webcam using the motion detection feature.

This works very well for me. It captures good quality video+audio and saves it to my Google Drive.

Actually quite pleased this was free functionality that came with the software.

Only thing I haven't done yet is write some kind of script/batch file to alert me every time a new file is uploaded.
