They are brilliant - I always have a few around. Good for cables and 101 other uses e.g. I put one on my bike's brake handle to stop it going walkies while it's being worked on.

I like the "tracking"... Estimated delivery is 10 Dec. They obviously use the slow ship (I'm ok with that as it was a $ 0.25 item with free shipping) but they practically lost track of the item a couple of weeks after shipping:

I had the same experience with a SFP+ 10Gbe transceiver module I ordered in November. Tracking stalled at this point within about a week after purchase with no further movement at all until purchaser protection was about to expire and Aliexpress wanted to close my order. I filed a dispute and pretty much instantly received a full refund.

It turned up in my letterbox about a month later. Saved me $70. I do feel a bit guilty...

Quick review because I couldn't find anything on the internet about this module before I bought it. Seems to work perfectly so far, correctly negotiates 2.5Gbe which was my main concern and is running cool and stable. Quite a bit cheaper than anything sourced in NZ.

I have a bunch of stuff arriving that is just all over the place in terms of tracking - suspect some is combined but it's not super clear what it is.

If your deliveries are combined, you will get an e-mail for _one_ of the packages with a delivery update. The first time you view the tracking details for each of the combined packages, you will also see a notification. The details for combined delivery lists the orders, but unfortunately, you can't click through to work out which ones they are, so you have to either check the tracking pages for each item, or lookup the order number. Future delivery updates will still only show the content of single package, but the text will change to "Your Combined Delivery (order #) has a shipping update. You can view the status below."

That would super well if SOMEONE didn't use a throwaway social media account to login to Ali Express like an idiot 😆

These ratchet clamps just arrived from Banggood. Only took 12 days, so pretty good.

$65 for the pair.  Apart from the black plastic latch, they are all solid metal.

Got some to replace the crap ones that came with my ozito tracksaw and so much better with less flex.

Ordered some of those too, alongside the Baseus ones, to test the cables and see if either of them can beat the Ankers, currently the best-quality cables I've found. Mine arrived yesterday, just need to set up the test gear for them.

Keen to see the results. Only feedback I've seen is from OzBargain.

This thread for example: Essager and Baseus cables are rebadges. Essager have been perfectly good in my experience. Factory OEM bascially.

It'll be interesting to see if they produce the same readings, I'm out for the day but will try and test them tomorrow.
