unlike the new lost in space, who thought space could be so boring.

Wow, I actually *really* enjoyed S2. I loved S1. I am not sure how you could find it boring?

Will Robinson and Dr Smith are both doing a great job with their roles.

Same here, I loved both seasons.
I really hope they make a third season.

Can highly recommend "Giri/Haji" which is now on Netflix - aired on BBC late last year. One of the best of last year, imho.

Also, just watched episode 1 of "Avenue 5" last night - hopefully it gets better, as the opener wasn't exactly laugh out loud. Zach Woods though, doing a variation of Jared from Silicon Valley shows promise.

Yes, Giri/Haji is awesome.
I'm surprised it hasn't popped up in this thread previously

I was hunting around to find a show with short 25-30 minute episodes for me to watch when it's bed time but I'm not quite tired enough yet and I came across The Good Place. I've only seen the first 4 episodes but so far I'm really enjoying it and it's got a nice charm about it. Can't wait to see how the story pans out (I've got a few ideas but don't want to spoil it).

We are up to date on this one and have really enjoyed the lighthearted and at times unpredictability of the story lines.

I have also just finished the 2nd series of Lost in Space.  Really enjoyed it and look forward to another series.

Final episode ever (S04E13) of The Good Place releases tomorrow night; I've enjoyed it across the four seasons (though it has sometimes been uneven), but am also happy they've known when to pull the plug, so to speak...

I'm surprised at how much I've enjoyed The Mandalorian; I've been over Star Wars-related content for a while, but I have found the relatively short episodes, good production values (apart from the dim picture!) and a decent-enough story have restored my faith to some degree...

As above... The Good Place and The Mandalorian are very high-quality programs in completely opposite sides of the genres spectrum.

The Mandalorian is like a good old wild west/spaghetti western - surprised even my wife watched all episodes with me!

I've started watching The Outsider on HBO/Sky Go.

So far, so good - part way through ep.1...

Although by no means new, I've been really enjoying watching The Americans again. But I love stories on espionage / spies - especially this series because its basic plot outline is based on real events

Going through Gira Haji on Netflix now - pretty good but could be a bit faster. 8/10

Also Agents of Shield season 1 with my daughter who is currently fascinated with Marvel. Shame currently only Season 1 is available on Disney+.

Right - so up to episode 4 now...and while the storyline and the acting etc is very good, I have to say the cinematography is doing my head in.

It's a series that I believe needs to be watched on an OLED screen in a completely blacked out room. Why? Because everything is so dark! even daylight scenes are dim and dull with dark corners and dimly lit areas that imply (I guess) a dark foreboding. That's great but it's not needed. The story is dark enough.

I found After life on Netflix last night. BBC black comedy with Ricky Gervais.

Funny and at 25 min an episode a good light fare.

I thought it lost its way a bit in Series 3, but Series 4 got it back on track again.

I've been watching the 1959 series of The Twilight Zone on Amazon Prime. Up to season 5 at present. Went to watch another episode last nite and it's now gone behind the CBS Allaccess pay wall or $2.99 per ep or $19.99 for a season. Wonder how long before the variouse Star Trek series go behind the paywall

I love the way he once described it as a lighthearted look at a man who has lost his life-companion/wife/lover/better half to cancer and wants to kill himself. And the hilarious hijinks that a man of that persuasion gets up to.

I really enjoyed that show and am looking forward to season 2 coming soon (ish).
