staying in a 5 star hotel does not mean one has to turn up in a shirt and dress pants.

if you wanted to wear a pair of jandals rugby shorts and a baskball singlet good on you.

Their in house facilities (restaurant or bar) might require a higher standard of dress.

A single IP address can host multiple domains. There is no way your browser would know what domain you want there.

Well, could one of you clever computer types please invent a way? I’d appreciate it greatly. 😀

Sure. Domain Naming Services, aka DNS.

True. I have a series of domaions at home - router.freitasm.com, nas.freitasm.com, tasmota.freitasm.com, goodsync.freitasm.com, homeassistant.freitasm.com, ngnix.freitasm.com and some of these point to the same IP address (the NAS, on different ports). By using the DNS it's easy to find them and it's also easy for password managers to assign the correct domain.

Money doesn't guarantee good manners, there are plenty of examples of wealthy people behaving badly even without including musicians.

That’s absolutely true; you can be broke and a Duke!

Large local businesses that don't advise that the items they are selling will be drop shipped.

Also - same items in-store are double the price.

I waited a couple of weeks for a few pairs of socks to arrive, when I wanted them more-or-less straight away. I only ordered them online because they were half the in-store price.

Very annoying. And the shipping was overpriced, but still didn't quite make it uneconomical to order.

Needless to say, they have lost me as a customer both online and in-store.

You need to name who it is that is doing this crap. "large local business" being crap covers most of them TBH.

They were on sale when I bought them, but only online.

No mention of dropshipping anywhere on their site that I can see...

No shipping to Amazon stores.

You realise this company is not the same as Amazon the online retailer, right?

Another item from the perpetual annoyance machine that is Outlook 365, when you acknowledge a meeting invite it auto-deletes the message that it's part of from your inbox so you have to dig through the deleted messages folder to get the meeting notes back. Yet another one of Outlook 365's million "which cretin thought doing this was actually a good idea?" features.

Theoretically, you can go into the meeting in your calendar and find the details

Yep, although that's just changed "digging through a folder" to "digging through a calendar".

If only someone invented a way to look for keywords in outlook. They could call it something like “search.”
