Annoying huh ? I actually wonder whether I'm more annoyed with myself for constantly obsessively checking every day, and refreshing throughout the day - has it moved yet, not yet, i'll just check again, nothing ever moves at this time of day but I'll just check anyway...

Actually, come to think of it, I saw a post the other day where it was claimed that this was an NZ Post issue rather than Customs. Of course I'll never find it now!

I'm terrible with that. I'd better just check mine again now, even though I checked it this morning and it won't be in the country yet...

I tell myself to be patient.

It doesn't work.

We spent Kings weekend in Napier. We decided to go to the swimming pool on the shore front. There are three mobility parks in front of the pools and all three were taken up by vehicles without mobility parking permits displayed. The ignorance of these selfish muppets meant that I was unable to go swimming.

Can you complain to police with their number plates? Otherwise nothing will ever change.

Good luck with that. Even council parking seems to get not enforced for that.

You better check again with a different tracking service, the first one could be lying.

Better yet, check with three services and go with the majority decision.

This article and the standard of data literacy in journalism:

https://www.stuff.co.nz/business/131976348/the-top-five-most-complained-about-ministries-when-it-comes-to-official-information-requests

When you look at the baseline which is number of requests, is <2.5% for those agencies of requests which haven't been resolved (bluntly assuming 6 months x 2). Police is best of the lot they had 34k OIAs in the period below…

Working in IT if we kept 97.5% of our customers happy I would be pretty pleased….

Baseline data:

...and now that I've mentioned it (today), the Customs Pending parcels have now become International Arrival parcels (today). Spooky or what...

and just in time to not move for another weekend.

Go with the majority decision ? that sounds almost democratic - what a weird concept.

This annoys me a bit more than a little, that stuff article put me in the mood.

I considered/tried for a short time buying tickets to the Womens Football World Cup. I gave up and will watch on tv.
