neb: A Plecostomus. And then they can work their way up.

A Plecostomus seem to enjoy their life (At least when I had them) we need something "more sucky"!

I called in as I was going past TWH Riccarton yesterday. Boy was it sad! Hardly any customers, lack of choice, lots of empty space etc.

It goes more downhill every time I have a look. (Online and Store)

You know it's bad when they have an entire bay with one product to pad it out. And it's coat hangers.

Technofreak: The number of drivers who drive with their rear fog lights on. They are quite blinding especiallly at night.

We number of times we have fog where they are necessary isn't that often.

This used to annoy me a lot in the UK although I see much less of it here.

I remember being amused when I saw a police car on the M25 pull in front of a car with the rear fogs on in clear conditions and flash up a message in the matrix display in the rear window that said "Turn Your Fog Lights Off!"

I hate the supermarket experience. I do everything I can to put it off as long as possible. They are thoroughly unpleasant places by every measure I can think of. They don't give a crap about their customers. I was going to write something about them here but was putting it off. Here is just one thing: The parking lots have sloping surfaces, especially at the new Countdown in our area. This makes it a hassle to unload a trolley into the car as the trolley keeps rolling away. An easy fix would be simple clamping brakes on the trolleys, as has been done elsewhere, but I guess that customer convenience is too much trouble. They invest god knows how much in building new mega stores but can't think of something as basic and useful as this. I hate everything about them.

Yes, I do miss Waitrose and Marks & Spencer.

Every time I do an Online The Warehouse order, something cannot be found, and a refund is eventually processed!

The latest order is no exception! (Refund notification just arrived!)

Kind of defeats shopping Online!

Useful to put them on when you're being tailgated 😜

But seriously, do people not realise that the use of (front) fog lights is illegal unless....the conditions require it? Look at how many drivers drive around all day and night with their fog lights on.

That THIS can happen in a supposed civilised society!

A young girl having Maccas with her friends in Glenfield and she gets assaulted viciously by a thug who has Main Character Syndrome. Because they laughed. Not at her, but in general. You know, enjoying themselves. As children should be able to.

There's no positive way to spin this - this person is a sociopath and should be removed from society until such time that their brain has developed enough to realise that this behaviour simply can't be tolerated in society. What drives a person to be so aggressive that they deem it OK to kick a young girl in the head repeatedly for a perceived slight?

Um... known lack of consequences?

So many vicious assaults these days involving attacks to the head of defenseless victims - kicking and stomping. This sort of attack should be considered an attempted murder, not an assault that attracts a slap on the hand with wet bus ticket consequence.

To me, the Police and judiciary are a big part of the problem as there's no consequences for this type of behaviour as evidenced by the the police spokesperson confirming
""We hope to identify the person responsible for harming my daughter, regardless of their age. While they may not face legal consequences, we wish to apprehend them, engage in a conversation with them and their parents, and ensure that such acts of abuse and assault do not happen to others in the future"

Yeah right - like thats going to work. Theres a bigger problem with these violent kids and I think it starts with the parents!

I agree. It annoys me no end that this kind of attack can and does lead to disability and/or death, the manner in which an assault is perpetrated should be considered and the appropriate charges laid.

I flick the rear fog light when being tailgated. Usually that's enough to get the muppet to back off.

When their headlights illuminate the inside of my car (they should be set lower) -
I have practiced adjusting the rearview mirror so it shines back into their faces ...........

I ordered something from a different retailer and had the order cancelled due to lack of stock. Two days later I contacted them, saying "the site still shows stock available, so what's going on here?" and was told that stock levels on the site aren't live. I replied and asked whether a slightly different variation of the product was available. "Yes, we have stock available."

My second order, placed within minutes of that email, was also cancelled due to lack of stock.

The next day I received a "how did we do?" email. I told them that they succeeded in looking incompetent.

OK this is a small one but it's still annoying - Spotify "Your Episodes" always sorts podcasts etc in descending order, so if you have stacked up a few episodes for the weeks commute they'll be sorted 6, 5, 4, 3 etc

There doesn't seem to be any way of changing this, or of making Android Auto play them in the right order.  So, while driving, when I want the next episode I have to stop the one that's just started, access the Spotify menu, select "Your Episodes", scroll down through all the episodes in the list and find the right one.  Would be so much better if they made it start with "1" or the lowest number and go through them in order.

If this is caused by me being dumb, which is a distinct possibility, please someone tell me how to fix!
